It's good to give.03/12/10
Our interest in and commitment to the community includes giving regular support to a selection of local charities. We've been honoured to provide the logo, artwork, poster and invitation designs for the Spring Ball held for the last three years by the Friends of Lucy-Mai (www.lucy-mai.co.uk). We're also proud to have produced the calendar for Leeds charity SNAPs (Special Needs and Parent Support) for the second year running.

Printforms: a local company with global reach25/11/10
Strongly rooted in the Wakefield community, Printforms is always keen to expand its opportunities and bring greater success back to Yorkshire.
In fact, the company has for some years operated at an international level, developing valuable global links and building up knowledge and expertise in the export market. That means we now have a clear understanding of complex international trade issues such as export processes, taxes, logistics and so on.
For example, we won the opportunity to produce nearly half a million MasterCard fan packs for the 2006 World Cup, translated into five languages. This large-scale experience and success positioned us perfectly to pitch for further international work in far-flung locations such as Texas, Cyprus, Kuwait, Australia and China, the latter of which play on integral part in Printforms providing total production solutions

Winning Ways in Wakefield!20/10/10
There may still be a recession out there but for one Wakefield litho print firm, business is booming!
Printforms Group, Wakefield city centres only remaining colour lithographic printer, knows that when the economy is under pressure it's the strong who survive. With a large and loyal customer base that depends on quality and service excellence, we've fought the recession by building for the future. In the last year we've not only invested in major new plant, we've also taken on new staff in both junior and executive positions.
As a local business, Printforms Group is keen to support the Wakefield community by providing sustained employment as well as in serving and helping local businesses. We take our community responsibility seriously, so when the national economy began to decline we believed that we should continue to invest in our business and our people instead of running for cover. The past year has not been an easy one and the first quarter was particularly challenging, but we held our nerve and stuck to our plan for growth. We're delighted that our strategy has successfully sustained our development and progress.
Our investment in plant, personnel and leading-edge software now deliver even greater creative variety - plus improved cost-efficiency and turnaround times for our customers. Our studio can handle almost any file type, and files can be simply and securely transmitted using our secure FTP site. What's more, our upgraded online PFLive system solves your stock management problems, allowing you to control, order and re-order stock at the touch of a button.
"We're heading onwards and upwards. Companies that successfully steer their way through this recession will emerge far stronger at the end of it." - Shaun Stanley, Director

Towards greener, cleaner print 19/09/10
At Printforms we recognise the effects of industry on the environment and we've pledged to reduce our own impact in any way that we reasonably can.
Beginning with our supply chain, we have developed an effective, high quality purchasing process: we work hard with our suppliers to minimise the environmental impact of their operations.
Paper and paper-based materials are inevitably a major ingredient of our business. Working with the internationally recognised Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) whose mission is to protect the world’s forests and timber resources, Printforms will achieve certification that shows we comply with the highest social and environmental standards in the market.
We are also committed to reducing waste by improving our recycling and re-use practice.
